As a true leader in the world of finance, Mr. Spaventa commands over a decade of experience as an investment manager, equities trader, research analyst, portfolio manager and executive. He has managed family investment offices, created and scaled a venture capital firm and regularly appears on investing podcasts for some of the most notable firms in the industry. Mr. Spaventa’s passion is discovering compelling investment opportunities and creating innovative methods of building wealth for his clients. When he is not behind the TSG desk, Mr. Spaventa enjoys reading, lifting weights, listening to music, training in Muay Thai and traveling.
With over 15 years of experience in the investment banking and private equity arenas, Mr. Kwon is an accomplished investment executive and leader. Mr. Kwon possesses expertise in a variety of industries, including technology, media, consumer / retail, real estate and infrastructure. He is an experienced venture capital and private equity investor, and has led all aspects of the investment process, including origination, execution, asset management and more. Mr. Kwon is a graduate of Duke University and in his free time, he enjoys watching basketball (the NBA and Duke basketball, more specifically), working out and cooking delicious meals for family and friends.
Mr. Caruso started his extensive career in the financial services industry over 35 years ago while still attending Pace University. He received his BBA in general business from Pace University and later earned his certificate degree in financial planning from NYU. Mr. Caruso holds both Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) designations, and has held various positions including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer for several securities and investment firms. He has also held treasurer, financial advisor and board member positions at local chapters of the Rotary Club and Lions Club. In his free time, Mr. Caruso enjoys gardening, motorcycle riding and fine dining. He has two beautiful daughters, both of whom attended the University of Scranton to pursue careers in finance and medicine.
Mr. Torrillo has over 25 years of experience in both investment management and compliance. He has obtained a Series 24 license and has a wealth of experience as both a compliance officer and investment executive. Born and raised in Long Island, Mr. Torrillo is an accomplished saxophone player and has a passion for music that he expresses by performing at local venues. Mr. Torrillo graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting.
Ms. Rogers has over 15 years of professional administrative experience and possesses unmatched proficiency and meticulous attention to detail. Born and raised in Long Island, Ms. Rogers has held various managerial and corporate leadership positions at Long Island-based companies, and brings her significant experience and tenacity to TSG’s leadership team. Ms. Rogers is the backbone of TSG’s administrative infrastructure and her hobbies outside of the office include baking, reading, traveling and playing pool.
A seasoned finance professional, Mr. Ferraro has over 20 years of investing experience, including a wealth of knowledge in the Pre-IPO and early-stage venture capital arenas. He previously held positions as an equities trader, a portfolio manager and a wealth management executive. Mr. Ferraro is a native of Long Island and loves spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite pastimes is watching his daughter play travel soccer.
Mr. Rutledge was born and raised in the greater Seattle area and earned his BA in psychology at the University of Washington. Post undergrad, he followed his dream of becoming a world-renowned chef and cooked in some of the best-known kitchens in the world for over ten years (culminating in one of his restaurants earning a Michelin star while he served as sous chef). After many years and accomplishments in the kitchen, he decided to pursue a career in another lifelong passion: investing. Utilizing his unmatched work ethic and keen investing intellect, he quickly established himself as an expert in the venture capital arena. Mr. Rutledge takes pride in his ability to quickly establish rapport with clientele and provide them with the best available information and guidance. In his free time, his hobbies include cooking various international cuisines, hiking, traveling, painting with acrylics and watercolor, and discovering new music.
Mr. Scanni has been in the financial services industry working with both retail and institutional investors for over 30 years. Having received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Dowling College in Oakdale, NY, Mr. Scanni has built strong relationships with hundreds of high-net-worth clients utilizing his extensive knowledge of equities, fixed income and venture capital. Mr. Scanni lives on Long Island, has been happily married for over 25 years and has four children. During his free time, you can find Mr. Scanni on the soccer field training, coaching and mentoring boys and girls of all ages. Mr. Scanni’s other hobbies include playing chess, cooking and eating Italian food. Mr. Scanni holds the Series 65 securities license
Mr. Nappi has been a leader in the investment industry for over 20 years and has held senior positions at some of the premier firms in the industry, including Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Stifel Nicolaus and Fisher Investments. His passion is expanding wealth for both individual and institutional clients alike, and he is constantly searching for innovative ways to bolster their success. Mr. Nappi is a family man who enjoys spending time with his two young boys as well as traveling, cooking, the “slow food movement”, football, lacrosse and his first love: motocross. Mr. Nappi holds the Series 65 securities license
Mr. French has over 30 years of experience in financial services and has held management positions at several different multinational Wall Street firms, including Citi, Barclays, Goldman Sachs and Sumitomo. He possesses deep expertise in the areas of alternative investments, capital markets, transaction banking, commercial leasing and asset management. Mr. French graduated from St. Mary’s University with a BBA in finance and takes great pride in helping his clients build wealth. Mr. French lives in the suburbs of NYC with his wife Nicole, their three wonderful children and three dogs. In his free time, he competes in sprint triathlons, plays golf, enjoys motivational books and podcasts, and relishes the time that he spends with his family. Mr. Baugh is a business development specialist and has spent over 30 years in top sales and leadership roles in the financial services and construction engineering industries. A recognized producer and skilled public speaker, Mr. Baugh is bilingual in English and Spanish, and provides superior customer service that maintains high customer satisfaction and loyalty. Mr. Baugh lives in Southern California with his wife and has three adult children as well as two grandchildren (with hopes for more). Mr. Baugh enjoys cooking, traveling and spending quality time with his wife, family and friends.
Mr. Corallo is a Senior Investment Consultant who previously worked in the music industry for many years as a performer and writer of original music for television. He was the composer and music editor for the Pokemon TV series from 1998 to 2013, and also composed music for the first two Pokemon movies. After a hugely successful career in music, he decided to pursue his passion for investing and pivoted into a career in financial services. Since moving into the financial world, Mr. Corallo has provided white glove service to all of his clients and is truly committed to helping his clients build their wealth. In his leisure time, he enjoys fishing, playing keyboards, cooking, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.

Mr. Patterson is a financial services professional specializing in venture capital and alternative investments, and has over 20 years of experience in the industry. He is an expert at handling high net worth investors and at one point, was personally managing over $50m of client assets at an NYSE-listed asset management firm. Mr. Patterson took a brief hiatus from the finance world in 2009 to run his own non-finance businesses, but came back to the industry after rediscovering his passion for helping clients build wealth. Mr. Patterson lives in South Florida where he enjoys windsurfing, fishing and donating his free time / coaching services to youth basketball programs.

Ms. Fontenot graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Oklahoma with a a bachelors degree in psychology and a minor in opera performance. She currently lives in Oklahoma City and her hobbies include scuba diving, traveling, cooking spicy foods and spending time with her kitten, Rorschach.
A native New Yorker, Mr. Alvarado retired as a New York state trooper and bomb dog handler to focus his career efforts on business development. Mr. Alvarado has over 20 years of experience as a top producer in the world of finance and previously ran a pharmaceutical industry recruiting firm. His attention to detail and overall tenacity set him apart from the pack and he truly enjoys helping his clients build their wealth. A proud father of four, Mr. Alvarado enjoys traveling and spending his free time with family and friends.
Mr. Fletcher took the “road less traveled” to arrive as a valued member of the TSG team. Prior to embarking upon his career as a Senior Investment Consultant, he worked as a sommelier and serving captain at some of the finest restaurants in New York City. After leaving the fine dining world, he utilized his management and organizational experience in project management roles on property rebuilds and restorations. Eventually, Mr. Fletcher decided to marry his passion (investing) with his career and brought his lifelong investing experience and tremendous work ethic to TSG. Mr. Fletcher holds himself to the highest standards when working with his clients and always strives to provide the best white-glove service in the industry. In his free time, Mr. Fletcher enjoys spending time with his wife and getting out on the golf course.
Of Irish and Ukrainian descent, Mr. Ford was born and raised on Long Island. After hugely successful forays in the life insurance and precious metal industries, Mr. Ford pivoted his career path to the world of private equity and venture capital. As a TSG Investment Consultant, Mr. Ford has great passion for helping his clients create generational wealth and is always available to provide his expertise at any time. When he does have free time, Mr. Ford enjoys spending time with family, working out, walking his beagle hound, reading and listening to personal development speakers such as Les Brown, Jim Rohn and Earl Nightingale.
A second generation immigrant from Ecuador, Mr. Yanza has proven that the American dream is still achievable with the right mentality and work ethic. Mr. Yanza started working at the age of 16 and was able to receive numerous accolades for outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong, consistent presence on the academic honor roll. As a TSG Investment Consultant, Mr. Yanza is dedicated to providing his wealth of VC knowledge to prospective and existing clients alike. In his free time, he enjoys going for Sunday drives in his vintage Mercedes Benz, reading self development books and listening to words of wisdom from successful businessmen, including Earl Nightingale, Dale Carnegie and Napoleon Hill.
Born in New York and raised in Haiti, Mr. Martelly returned to the US and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a major in Economics and a minor in Engineering Management. Mr. Martelly has extensive experience as an executive director in the oil industry and understands what it takes to maintain client relationships and build wealth in the private sector. After his successful foray in the energy sector, Mr. Martelly decided to pursue his passion for investing and now provides the best possible service for his clients in the alternative investment arena.
With extensive experience as a finance professional, entrepreneur and athlete, Ms. Hu knows what it takes to achieve success at a high level. After beginning her career in finance, Ms. Hu took a hiatus to acquire her MBA and establish / operate a successful business in the restaurant industry. Following a successful entrepreneurial exit, Ms. Hu decided to move back into the world of finance. She now focuses on going the extra mile for her clients and helping them achieve financial success through alternative investing.
Mr. Prinzivalli has over 20 years of investing experience in a variety of asset classes, including pre-IPO and earlier stage venture capital. Mr. Prinzivalli has a wealth of experience in managing client accounts as well as training and managing teams of investment advisors and consultants. An MVP of his HS football team, Mr. Prinzivalli is a native Long Islander and grew up in Smithtown, NY. His grandfather taught him about investing at a young age and it quickly became his passion as well. John loves spending time with his wife of 15 years and enjoys watching his two boys play travel baseball.
